Crime & A City Guide were the post-punk rock band formed by Australian singer and songwriter Simon Bonney. It got quaternity distinct line-ups: Sydney in 1978, Melbourne in 1979 and two groupings inside Berlin. A single most common member altogether quadruplet line-ups was Bonney. More members involved: previous members of The Birthday Party (Mick Harvey and Rowland S. Howard); former Swell Maps drummer Epic Soundtracks; and Alexander Hacke from Einsturzende Neubauten.
the b& completed 5 studio albums and a total of E.Ps, as well as a posthumous live album.
Trivia
Wim Wenders, who was the fan of the band, featured the two performing within his film Wings of Desire as well as in the soundtrack to Until the End of the World.
Bandmember Bronwyn Adams is married to vocaliser Simon Bonney. Her brother Bruno Adams was a vocaliser in the band known as "Once Upon A Time", world health organization were by Mick Harvey.
